About Professor Janet Hemingway:

Professor of Tropical Medicine, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine Janet Hemingway

has 40 years’ experience of working in multiple disease control programs across Africa

and Asia. Established the IVCC in 2005 to work with industry to generate new public

health insecticides and vector control tools, bringing a range of new vector control tools

to the market over the last decade. She was the Director of LSTM from 2000 to 2019 and

currently heads the £200 M Infection Innovation Consortium (iiCON).
